Castletown ran out convincing winners of this rather one-sided Group A Senior Championship game at Bellefield on Friday night.

Gusserane opened proceedings with a well struck Adrian Flynn early in the game, but they only managed to score two more points in the second half, at the break, Castletown led, 0-08 to 0-03.

Castletown played with the aid of a stiffening breeze in the second half and managed to out-score their opposition nine points to one, leaving the full time score 0-17 to 0-04.

This leaves both teams on 2 points each after two games in Group A of this year’s Championship.
