Buffers Alley clubman, Barry Kennedy, has been appointed manager of the Wexford Senior Camogie team.

Martin Carey resigned from the position 2 months ago, and after a lengthy interview process, Jacinta Roche, Chairperson Wexford Camogie, said, “We are delighted to have Barry on Board “ and “it is now onwards and upwards.”

I’m delighted to be appointed, I know it will be a challenge, but really looking forward to it,” Barry told WexfordToday, “The talent is there with plenty of young players coming through”.

Barry played juvenile and minor with Buffers Alley and has been involved in management with both the Alley and Ballygarrett at junior level, camogie and ladies football.

Wexford face Offaly today, in Parnell Park, at 2pm, in a relegation play-off, in Division 1 of the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie.
