Wexford Cup champions Gorey Rangers are into the last 16 of the FAI Junior Cup and there is great excitement in the town as Sunday approaches and the big show down with Dublin’s Sheriff Youth Club at Ramstown Park.
This is the biggest junior soccer competition in the country and the kick-off is at 2 pm.
“We need massive support and tea, coffee and soup will be available to fight against the cold, but wrap up well and cheer for the Rangers,” a spokesperson told WexfordToday.com
Also on Sunday, Gorey Rangers 2nd team will play St. Joseph’s Kilmuckridge at 10.45 am so it is going to be a busy day at Ramstown.
Gorey Rangers were honoured at the Gorey Civic Awards held in the Ashdown Park Hotel on Thursday night and during the presentation Malcolm Byrne spoke to Gary O’Brien, Club Chairman.
