Former winners of a Bord Gais School Theatre Award, Kilmore National School are taking to the stage at the National Opera House, Wexford.
After roaming the plains of Africa in their award winning performance of The Lion King, the Model County drama troupe will take on the might of Chinese warlords in their performance of Disney hit musical, Mulan.
Still buzzing after scooping the Best Overall School Musical title in 2016, Principal Micheal Martin is singing the youngsters’ praises.
He said: “The children and their teachers have been busy preparing during lunch times since September and they are looking forward to putting on a great show.
“As always we receive great support from the school community in terms of costuming and props to ensure a professional look.”
The show is directed by class teacher Mairéad Moore, who is assisted by Órla Kelly, Dara Cullen and Liam Bates.
Curtains up on Thursday, January 24th and Friday, January 25th. Tickets are €6 for children under 16, €12 for adults and €18 for the Founders Circle seats.
