Wexford owners to the fore at “HSI Loose Jumping”

Capt Geoff Curran presents the 1500 euro first prize to Caitriona Redmond & Emelee

Wexford owners took the bulk of the prizemoney on offer at the HSI sponsored Loose Jumping for fillies and mares at the Wexford Equestrian Centre on Monday evening.

Caitriona Redmond’s, Emelee (ISH), won the 4yo section, the daughter of Emerald Van’t Ruytershof, has been jumped this season and is due to have two foals by embryo transfer in the Spring. Caitriona, from Newbawn, almost pulled off the double, as her 3yo filly, Folly Stuff (ISH), took the runner-up spot in her section.

Emelee (ISH) Wins 4yo Fillies At Wexford

Emelee (ISH), by Emerald Van't Ruytershof (BWP), out of Lux Forever (ISH), by Lux Z (HANN), owned by Catriona Redmond, won the HSI Loose Jumping for 4yo Fillies, on Monday evening, at Wexford Equestrian Centre, and following the prsesntation, Raymond Bready spoke to the winning owner.

The 3yo section was won by Susan Fitzpatrick’s, MRF Tiffin (ISH), handled by Linda Murphy, Coolgreaney, this filly was an 11,000 euro purchase 2 weeks ago, Henry Foley, Ballindaggin, produced the daughter of Metropole for the Monart Sale. Third place went to Patrick Byrne’s, BGS Judge Judy, by Dignified Van’t Zorgvliet (BEWB), out of the Great Palm mare (TB), BGS Grey Mist (TB).

Henry won the 3yo pony section with MVS Carvelle (ISH), by Carmena Z (ZANG) out of Bo (KWPN), and in the 4yo pony section, Susan Corish’s, Robins Fairy Tale (ISH), by Robin De La Maison (TB), took the runner-up spot.

Cavan Equestrian holds the next leg of the series on Thursday afternoon, and the final leg moves to the Top Flight Equestrian Centre in Kilkenny on Monday next.
