A man in his 80’s has died following a road traffic collision at Forth Commons, near Wexford town, this afternoon.
He was the sole occupant of a the car which collided with another car at around 1.30 pm
He was brought to Wexford General Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
Another man and a woman, both in their 20s, received minor injuries in the collision.
The road had been closed to facilitate a forensic examination but has since reopened.
