Naomh Eanna’s AIB Leinster Senior Hurling Club Championship campaign looks to have been dealt a serious blow ahead of Sunday’s clash with Camross.
Cathal Dunbar’s straight red card against Oylegate-Glenbrien in the county semi-final was lifted by a last gasp DRA meeting on the eve of the county final, but it now transpires the Gorey man will have to sit out Sunday’s game.
Eoin Molloy and Pedro Travers both saw red in their AIB Junior Football loss to Tullogher Rosbercon last Saturday in New Ross.
The loss of three players will be seen as a major loss for the Gorey outfit, bookmaker reaction has been swift, and Camross have shortened from 9/4 into 15/8, but Naomh Eanna are still short priced favourites at 1/2.
