Double All Ireland Finals for Glynn Barntown Rounders Club

Glynn Barntown Rounders Club are looking forward to taking on The Heath, Laois, tomorrow in Abbotstown NSC, in the All Ireland Rounders Finals.

First up at 12 o’clock are the newly formed Mixed Team. This is the team’s first year in the competition and they have gone unbeaten throughout the season, they secured their place in tomorrow’s finals after a 2 run win over Erne Eagles of Cavan in the All Ireland Semi-finals.

The Mixed Team play at 12 noon

Mixed Team: Emma Reddy (Capt), Kenny O’Reilly, Jay Malone, Yvonne Hanley, Ann Hanley, Sarah Mc Guinness, Paul Cooper, Jay O’ Reilly, Dylan Whitty, Kate Duggan, Mick Kelly, Mark Curtis, Henry Dunne.

At 2pm the Glynn Barntown Ladies Team take on The Heath. The Wexford side have won this title since 2016, now looking for three in a row, they know they have tough opposition in the Laois side but are looking forward to the challenge.

The champions saw off strong opposition from Breaffy, Mayo in a nail biting semi-final, which went to extra innings, Glynn Barntown dug deep and secured their place by 1 run.
