Summer racing returns to Bettyville Park on Friday evening and success is guaranteed with 78 runners competing for a prize fund of €73,000 on a 7-race card with the first off at 5.40 pm.
A watering programme has been ongoing at the Wexford track and good safe gound is predicted. Today (Thursday) the going was stated as “good, good to firm in places.”
The richest race of the evening is the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase of €15,000. Eight go to post and punters could get a good run for their investment with a modest wager on Magnetic Force.
Crown of Thorns in the handicap hurdle (6.45 pm) and Imastartoo in the bumper (8.50 pm) are two others that look value for money.
Another popular feature is the Most Stylish Lady Competition sponsored by Monart Spa, Enniscorthy, bringing added glamour and glitz to the popular track in the sunny south-east.
