The 2018 Home International Regatta, comprising of Wales, Scotland, England and Ireland, was held last Saturday at the National Rowing Centre in Cork, a total of 64 Irish athletes competed, 2 of which are members of the New Ross Rowing Club.
Luke Sutton was a member of the Mens Junior Quad, and they took the runner-up position behind a very strong English crew.
Shona Tierney was a member of the Junior Womens Quad and they lost out to England in a very tight finish.
New Ross Coach, Janet Walsh, was selected as head coach to the Junior Womens squad, and she led her 3 Irish crews to three runner-up positions over the weekend.
