Fine Gael Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Michael D’Arcy, TD., has welcomed the announcement that the Department of Education has allocated funding to Glynn National School, near Killurin, for a pre-fab replacement and two 15m2 SET rooms.
This is particularly good news following the destruction of two pre-fabs in the school during the severe winter storm last February.
Minister D’Arcy stated “that this is really good news for the staff, parents and children of Glynn National School.”
