The Galway Equestrian Centre hosted the final Showjumping Qualifier for the Dublin Horse Show on Wednesday.
Jason Higgins will certainly have a busy week in the RDS, he qualified another horse, Poynstown Domino took fourth place in the 5yos, owned by Jason, bred by Eamon O’Dwyer, the gelding is by OBOS Quality, out of the Touchdown mare, Lady Galtee.
Sophie Richards continued her good run, as she had two horses in the top 9 of the 6yo class; MHS Fernhill took the runner-up spot, the grey gelding is owned by Carol Gee, bred by Ita Brennan, Gowran, by Cardento, out of the Guidam mare, MHS Pembrook Lady.
Be The One jumped double clear to take seventh place, the bay mare is by Dignified Van’t Zorgvliet, out of the Ramiro B mare, Diro, bred and owned by Maurice Cousins in Barnadown. Unfortunately for connections, Be The One, cannot take her Dublin place as Sophie can only bring two horses for the class in the RDS, she had already qualified Moonahaw DVZ Diamond.
