Gorey’s July coding course for young children

GOREY LIBRARY

During July, Gorey Library will host a four week coding course for children aged 7 – 12 years old.
All lessons are based on python and will include coding with turtle and coding and interfacing with electronic circuits.

Wednesday July 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th – 3.45 pm – 4.45 pm.
Coding is a basic literacy skill in the digital age, and it is important for kids to understand and be able to interact with the technology around them.
There’s a high demand for workers in the tech industry; mastering coding at a young age allows kids to excel in any field they choose!
Children must attend all four dates. Places are limited and booking is essential.
To book your place contact Gorey Library on 053 9421481. Parents/Guardians must be in the Library for duration of the session.
