With one set of games to be played in the Leinster round robin section, lets take a closer look at what the weekend’s results may throw up.
Offaly have completed their four games and look destined to be banished to the Joe McDonagh Cup for 2019.
Dublin’s season is over, even if they manage to beat Galway and check out on 4 points their head to head against Wexford and Kilkenny ensures they cannot advance.
Galway beat both Kilkenny and Wexford, so they are guaranteed to be in the Leinster final.
A draw for Wexford against Kilkenny on Saturday evening in Nowlan Park will be enough to see the Model County through to a Leinster final, Kilkenny need to win. The looser of this game will also advance to the knock out stages of the All-Ireland Championship.
