Water for the horses at Wexford Races

Picturesque Wexford Racecourse where quality horse racing took place this afternoon.

Wexford Racecourse has its own water supply and the hoses have been turned on in earnest in recent days to ensure safe ground conditions for the 80 runners who will compete in seven races this evening (Wednesday).
The official going is “Good, good to firm in places” and the first race is away at 5.50 pm. There are four hurdle races and three steeplechases, so plenty of jumping action to entertain patrons.
