The draw for the first round qualifiers in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship will take place live on RTE Radio 1 on “Morning Ireland” at 8.30am on Monday morning and may also be viewed live on GAA.ie.
The venues and times will be confirmed by the CCCC on Tuesday afternoon with all games to be played on the weekend of June 9th/10th. All matches will be required to finish on the day under the new Championship protocols.
Wexford will have a great chance of getting a home fixture, as if any of the teams from Division 3 or 4 in the Allianz League draw a team from either Division 1 or 2, they will be awarded a home tie. It is actually possible that we could play Mayo at Innovate Wexford Park. Should we draw a team from Division 3 or 4, the first drawn team will secure home advantage.
The teams in the pot are as follows,
Connacht
London
Mayo
Leinster
Westmeath/Laois
Longford/Meath
Carlow/Kildare
Dublin/Wicklow
Louth
Wexford
Offaly
Munster
Limerick
Waterford
Ulster
Cavan
Down/Antrim
Armagh
Derry/Donegal
Tyrone
