Davy Fitzgerald has named an unchanged side for Wexford’s Round 2 clash against Offaly in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship on Saturday evening at 7.00pm in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park, Tullamore.
The game will not be shown live on either RTE or Sky, armchair viewers will have to wait until 9.30pm the following day to see what highlights the national broadcaster will serve up on the “The Sunday Game”. Earlier in the year TG4 showed several games LIVE on their youtube channel, but alas the 57 year old RTE may not be aware of this free service.
So, if you cannot get to the match make sure to tune into Liam Spratt & Co on South East Radio, or follow Official Wexford GAA on Twitter for some witty updates.
The latest Paddy Power prices on the game see Wexford chalked up at 1/7, Offaly 11/2, and should you fancy a draw over the 70 minutes, you can have 14/1 to your money. You can back Wexford at even money if you fancy giving the Offaly men plus 7 points.
Gorey’s, Conor McDonald, is 6/1 to score the first goal, Shane Dooley, 13/2. Mark Fanning is not listed in the market, maybe that’s the bet, the Glynn-Barntown keeper to score Wexford’s first goal from a penalty, we may call into Paddy to get a price on that one.
