WEXFORD RACES. All the action on Wednesday.
By Dan Walsh
Jump racing takes place today (Wednesday) and due to a large entry for the Loch Garman Handicap Hurdle, the race has been divided with 14 facing the starter in each division, and consequently giving punters better value for money with a competitive eight-race card.
This brings the start time for the first race forward to 5.10 pm and the ground is reported ‘good’.
Over 100 horses have stood their ground for the fixture and will compete for a total prize fund of €96,000.
The feature race is the EBF Chase over two miles and it will be fast and furious and very competitive.
Admission is €15 with concessions and with the promise of a pleasant evening a large attendance is anticipated.
