Gorey’s Callum calls his tune in Texaco Art final

Four Wexford students have won top prizes in this year’s 64th Texaco Children’s Art Competition.
In the 6-years and under age category, first prize (€150) went to Callum Leonard (6), a pupil at Bunscoil Loreto Gorey, for his work entitled ‘Boy On Skateboard’.
Other winners from Wexford, all of whom will receive a Special Merit Award, are Maya Rubin-Rahn (10), from Gorey Educate Together, Jamie Dunne (7), from Bunscoil Loreto Gorey, and Jack Bates (5), from Artmakers, Kilmore.
Prizes will be presented at an awards ceremony in Dublin next month when all of the 126 top prize-winners will be in attendance.
