Betting round-up on the hurling championship

We take our weekly look at the betting for the weekend with Richard Walsh, Monck Street, Wexford.

Some very prohibitive odds in the senior championship; the 6/4 about Buffers Alley looks to be a bit of value, maybe combine them with the 4/6 on offer for a double, so a score double will give me a return of 83 euro.

Senior Championship games or the weekend

1/5 Oulart-The Ballagh 10/1 Glynn Bartown 4/1

1/16 St Martins 14/1 St Annes 8/1

1/3 Shelmaliers 10/1 Faythe Harriers 11/4

8/13 Rapparees 8/1 Buffers Alley 6/4

4/6 Gorey 8/1 Rathnure 11/8

8/11 Oylegate 8/1 Ferns 5/4

Lots of people expect Crossabeg-Ballymurn to make a return to top flight hurling; they have Askamore in round 1 of the Intermediate Championship, however the 9/2 on offer here for the Gorey district team is very tempting.
