Schedules and ticket details for Wexford games confirmed

Game-times and venue details have just been confirmed for both the Wexford senior hurlers’ and footballers’ Leinster championship games – and tickets are already on sale!

The footballers open their campaign at home to Laois on Saturday 12th May at 6.30p.m., when the same counties will meet in a Leinster minor (now under-17) hurling championship curtain-raiser at 4.15p.m.

Meanwhile, the senior hurlers have their first game of the new round-robin format also in Innovate Wexford Park on Sunday 20th May with a 3p.m., throw-in.

Davy Fitzgerald’s charges are then away to Offaly on Saturday 26th May in Tullamore at 7p.m; at home to Galway on Saturday 2nd June at 5p.m; before concluding the qualifying phase away to Kilkenny on Saturday 9th June at 7p.m.

In the case of the football/minor hurling double-header on May 12th against Laois, tickets for the Stand are priced at €20, and for terrace €15.

For the hurlers’ games against Dublin and Galway, tickets are €20 for the covered (no concession) and uncovered Stands, and €15 for either terrace.

For the Offaly game in Tullamore, tickets are €20 for the Stand and €15 for the terrace.

In the case of the Kilkenny game at Nowlan Park, tickets are €20 for Ardan Breathnach, Ardan De Gras, and Ardan O’Cearbhaill, and €15 for the City End Terrace (no concessions). Seating is unreserved but stand-specific for Ardan Breathnach, Ardan De Gras, and Ardan O’Cearbhaill.

The wheelchair-ticket to any of these games is free-of-charge, and the Assistant’s ticket is €20.

Other ticket packages are available for Wexford’s home games in football and hurling as follows –

  • Group Pass will apply to the Clonard terrace only. This is for groups of under-16s, €3 per under-16 and bring 1 adult free-of-charge with every 10 juveniles, while any additional adults pay full price.
  • Family tickets (1 adult and 2 under-16s) are available as follows – for the uncovered-seating, adults €20, under-16s €5 each; or, for the terrace, adults €15 and under-16s €5 each.
  • Senior Citizens/Students will be accommodated in uncovered-seating or terrace, and they can claim a rebate of €5 when producing appropriate I.D., at the appropriate stiles.
