London Association mourns the loss of Sean Diviney

The London Wexford Association is devastated by the sudden passing of its Life President, Sean Diviney, who unexpectedly passed away on Monday, April 2nd, two days after attending the Fr Murphy’s GAA Club 60th anniversary reunion at the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy.
A native of Carrigbyrne, Sean was the proprietor of the popular London ‘The Prince of Wales’ pub in Willesden Lane, Kilburn, where he took over from the Phillips family, and Sean and his family have represented the Fr. Murphy’s club on the field and have been long time supporters.
He was a great character and a loyal friend to many always renowned to dress in smart attire.
Sean was well-known and admired by the Wexford politicians and sporting icons that were guests of the London Wexford Association over a long number of years.
Deepest sympathy is expressed to his wife, Kathleen, and sons, Trevor and John, sister Vera; grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, brothers-in-law, Tommy and Michael, other relatives and friends, R.I.P.
