New venture for GAA supporters

Wexford GAA is launching an exciting venture for supporters.

‘Cairde Loch Garman’ has been revealed as the new branding for the county’s supporters’ club.

It is being launched today (Sunday) to coincide with the massive Wexford-Kilkenny Allianz hurling league semi-final at Innovate Wexford Park.

‘Cairde Loch Garman’ sees the long-standing Wexford GAA Supporters’ Club and ‘Club Wexford’ – the commercial wing of the County Board – amalgamated under the one wing of the board.

This comes hot on the heels of the board making a positive move to harness its commercial potential with the appointment of current Wexford hurler Eanna Martin as its first-ever Commercial Manager.

‘Cairde Loch Garman’ has a membership fee of €25, for which there are numerous benefits, including advance access to purchase tickets for inter-county championship matches, and discounts at selected Wexford retailers.

‘Cairde Loch Garman’ will ‘go live’ on April 9th when supporters will be able to sign-up online via www.wexfordgaa.ie

Meanwhile, on Saturday 28th April, Wexford GAA is staging a day at the races in Punchestown (contact Tom Galway for information, 087-2887792). And ‘Cairde Loch Garman’ has the annual golf classic in Bunclody Golf Club on Friday 4th May (contact Des Croke 086-2944249 to book in your team of 4, €250).
